ENDYMED 3 DEEP®: PENETRATING BIPOLAR RADIOFREQUENCY
A real alternative for flaccidity

Cellulite is a universal female aesthetic problem. It affects 90% of women (a greater percentage of Caucasians than Asians). As a woman matures, her aesthetic concerns are with cellulite and the appearance of skin flaccidity from the age of 40; the battle against flabbiness is common to both genders from the ages of 35 to 40. This does not include flaccidity and skin quality problems in the young due to sudden weight gain, weight loss and pregnancies. The demand for treatments against abdominal, back, arm, internal thigh, neck and facial flabbiness is more and more frequent in our consultations.

The application of radiofrequency to reshape the connective tissue is a clinically accepted and proven fact. IML has performed two clinical studies with the new Endymed 3 Deep® (Multipolar radiofrequency with phase control) technology. The first study deals with safety and efficiency of the device in patients with cellulite and flaccidity, associated or not. This is the aim of this announcement. The second study, seeks complete optimisation of the parameters, indications and protocols of treatment and maintenance. This will be the aim of the following announcement. In the second study, the application parameters, the level of subjective and objective improvement, its correlation to the anatomical localisation and the features of the areolar and steatomeric fat tissue of the region and the changes observed with ultrasounds, thermography and confocal microscopy are dealt with.

Therapy Session 3 DEEP ® ENDYMED in IM

IML presents the launch of a new alternative to its patients based on the new Endymed 3 Deep® technology, a system of deep bipolar radiofrequency delivery with phase control that makes the best of the bipolar radiofrequency features, with a more controlled therapeutic effect and deeper tissue application, which had not been feasible to date.

1º GENERATION
Normal bipolar radiofrequency

Aimed at the face as it delivers focalised and surface energy, which flows between the two electrodes on the handpiece, without reaching the thick and deep tissue.

2º GENERATION
Unipolar radiofrequency (Accent)

Delivery via one electrode, it acts in depth, in a disperse and less concentrated manner, which makes it necessary to work with much more energy while, cooling the dermis to avoid the sensation of pain or the risk of burning.

3º GENERATION
Control phase radiofrequency (3DEEP™)

More effectiveness with less sudden energy.

Delivered by the multiple electrodes of one handpiece, controlled by a thermometer and microprocessor. It acts progressively and concentrated on the tissue plan, auto-adjusting to the conductivity of the treated tissue.
